Terms of Service

QUEST is a bounty board. Someone posts a task and locks up an ETH reward, someone else does the work and submits proof, and the poster picks a winner who is then paid.

QUEST runs on Robinhood Chain, a public blockchain. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Robinhood brokerage app or Robinhood Markets, Inc. We provide no brokerage service and use no brokerage data.

Read this part carefully. When you fund a quest, the ETH is sent to a wallet QUEST controls. It is not held in a smart contract you can withdraw from yourself, and it is not held in your own wallet. You are trusting us to hold it and to pay it out correctly.

We keep a ledger of what is owed to whom and reconcile it against the wallet balance continuously. We intend to replace this with an escrow contract you can verify yourself, and we will say so plainly when we do.

Once a quest is funded and published, the poster cannot withdraw the reward. It is paid to a winner, or returned to the poster after the quest expires.

QUEST takes 6 percent of a reward when it is paid out. The winner receives 94 percent. If the winner was referred by someone, that referrer receives 5 percent, paid out of our 6, never out of the winner's share. Posting a quest is free and refunds are free.

The poster decides which proof wins. If your proof is rejected you may open one dispute, which freezes the quest until we review it. Our decision on a dispute is final.

We can freeze, block or remove any quest, and suspend any account, including for content that breaks the rules below. We can override a poster's decision where we believe someone is acting in bad faith.

Quests involving any of the following are removed and may get you banned:

1. Physical harm, self harm, injury or dangerous stunts.
2. Permanent body modification, including tattoos, piercings and branding.
3. Anything illegal in a jurisdiction we serve.
4. Harassment, doxxing, or tasks targeting a named private individual.
5. Sexual content. Anything involving minors is reported, with zero tolerance.
6. Fake reviews, astroturfing, vote brigading, bot traffic or market manipulation.
7. Academic fraud and impersonation.

People doing quests are independent contractors, not employees or contractors of QUEST. We withhold nothing and file nothing on your behalf. What you earn here is yours to declare.

Blockchain transactions are irreversible. Sending to a wrong address, losing access to your wallet, or a failure at Privy or Convex can cost you money, and some of that is outside our control. ETH is volatile: a reward is a fixed quantity of ETH, not a fixed amount of any currency. Any dollar figure shown is an estimate.

QUEST is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the reward amount of the quest in question.
